  • Other information you choose to provide in a message, inquiry, application, or other communication.

Please use care when submitting free-form messages and avoid providing sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for your inquiry.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, the Site and its hosting, security, caching, and technical infrastructure may automatically receive certain technical information. Depending on configuration, this may include:

  • IP address;
  • browser and device type;
  • operating system;
  • pages requested or visited;
  • referring URL;
  • date and time of a request;
  • approximate location derived from an IP address;
  • error, security, and diagnostic information; and
  • other technical information ordinarily transmitted when a browser communicates with a website.

This information may be used to deliver the Site, maintain its functionality and security, troubleshoot technical issues, prevent abuse, and understand Site performance.

Analytics and Advertising Information

With your consent, the Site uses Google Analytics, through the MonsterInsights WordPress plugin, to collect information about Site usage, devices, interactions, traffic sources, and related analytics data.

With your consent, the Site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, through the PixelYourSite WordPress plugin, to collect information about visits and interactions with the Site. This allows Meta and House of Eridu to measure advertising performance, create audiences, and support advertising activities.

Neither tool loads until you accept the relevant cookies through our cookie banner. See Section 3.

Information Processed by Third Parties

When you interact with services connected to House of Eridu, third parties may collect information directly from you. For example:

  • Kit processes newsletter and waitlist subscriptions.
  • Stripe and PayPal process payments made for certain House of Eridu sessions, gatherings, or other services outside the Site.
  • Mighty Networks provides House of Eridu’s community platform.

House of Eridu does not directly receive or store full payment card numbers processed by Stripe or PayPal.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on or accessed from your device when you use a website. Similar technologies may include pixels, local storage, and other browser-based technologies.

The Site uses cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website operation, security, performance, and WordPress functionality. These are always on.

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner, provided through the ConsentMagic plugin, lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel). Non-essential cookies are not set unless you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.

The Site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google’s servers, which means your IP address and basic browser information are transmitted to Google.

You may also control certain cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some websites or services.

Marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe mechanism where required. You may unsubscribe using the link contained in an email or by contacting us at info@houseoferidu.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not necessarily prevent us from sending non-marketing communications that are reasonably necessary in connection with an inquiry, transaction, gathering, service, or existing relationship.

The Site may contain links to websites, social-media platforms, payment services, community platforms, or other services operated by third parties.

House of Eridu does not control the privacy, security, content, or practices of those third parties. When you leave the Site or interact directly with another service, that provider’s privacy policy and terms may apply.
